Arrow Compass Fund

The Fund is a 'fund of funds' which has been structured to provide investors with an opportunity to have their assets managed by investment managers in a diversified portfolio of funds selected and monitored by the Manager. The Fund's investment objective is to seek to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns, i.e. long term capital appreciation with a limited volatility performance by investing in nimble and flexible managers who can deliver risk adjusted returns with low correlation and who have kept their funds at an adequate level of assets. The Fund intends to employ the capabilities and trading strategies of several portfolio managers, with a particular emphasis on managers who have demonstrated the ability to generate positive returns. In certain cases, the Fund may invest with less experienced portfolio managers. To achieve this objective, the Fund will allocate its assets among approximately twenty-five to thirty hedge funds managed by different portfolio managers across various investment strategies and among markets traded, such as directional trading, equities long and short, equities short only, risk arbitrage, convertible arbitrage, relative value trading and multi-strategy arbitrage. The principal markets will entail equities, fixed-income, foreign exchange and commodities. The portfolio managers have the ability to use all financial instruments and many leverage the assets allocated to them. The Fund will, therefore, attempt to offer diversification among managers that would be difficult to achieve for a single portfolio. Any current income will be incidental to the Fund's primary investment approach.
