Baring International Bond Fund

The Objective for the Fund is to achieve an attractive level of income together with potential long-term growth in the value of assets. The policy of the Managers is to hold an internationally diversified portfolio of fixed interest securities. The portfolio may also from time to time include securities with floating interest rates. The portfolio will normally consist of bonds and debentures issued by governments, local authorities, public authorities and corporations (whether secured or unsecured) and may include securities convertible into or exchangeable for equity shares. The Managers do not intend, however, to invest more than 25 per cent in aggregate of the Fund's assets in such convertible or exchangeable securities. Although the net asset value of the Fund id expressed in Dollars, the relative attraction of investments denominated in other currencies is a major consideration of the Managers.
