The Fund was the top performing fund over the second half of 2006 out of 134 funds in the Global Equity Directional Long Bias sector as listed on Bloomberg. The Fund was ranked 4th out of 134 over the full year 2006The base currency of the fund is US Dollars. Class D Sterling shares also available.

Our Strategy

CopperTree Mustang Fund is a special situations hedge fund. Its stratgey has the following components:

• Global mandate
• No investment restrictions
• Long and short capability depending on investment climate
• Opportunistic strategy - to capitalise on the extended super cycle driven by urbanisation of emerging economies
• Mid/small cap bias either listed or pre-IPO
• Early stage or founder level investments: 3 - 18 months pre-IPO in order to focus on greeatest upside within the company life cycle
• Calculated risk/reward investment with a planned exit strategy. Endeavour to create liquidity in our investments with a stock market listing within 3 - 18 months from initial investment
