Gartmore SICAV US Fund

The Fund aims to achieve a long-term return, in excess of the long-term return that is typically achieved from equity markets in the United States of American ("the US"), by investing in:

• companies having their registered office in the US,
• companies that do not have their registered office in the US, but either (i) carry out a predominant proportion of their business activity in the US, or (ii) are holding companies which predominantly own companies with registered offices in the US.

The return will be a combination of capital and income returns.

The Fund's portfolio will consist of the following: 

• a multi-strategy quantitative core; 
• an actively managed satellite.

The balance of core and satellite positions will vary over time.

The fund manager anticipates that the quantitative core will help the Fund maintain a relatively low turnover.
