Gartmore SICAV US Opportunities Fund
The Fund aims to achieve a long-term in excess of the long-term return, that is typically achieved from US equity markets, by investing in:
- companies having their registered office in the US,
- companies that do not have their registered office in the US but either (i) carry out a predominant proportion of their business activity in the US, or (ii) are holding companies which predominantly own companies with registered offices in the US.
The return will be a combination of capital and income returns.
The distinctive feature of the Fund is its management policy: in seeking out investment opportunities the Fund is likely to have a high turnover and to invest in companies of any market capitalisation.
The Fund is denominated in US dollar
