K1 Global Fund

K1 Global Fund

The K1 Global Ltd. follows a Multi-Strategy/ Multi-Manager Approach. The strategy aims for relatively high and consistent profit at a justifiable risk (measured against the swing of results). The volatility of results can be reduced through the sensible implementation of the following measures:

• Methodic investment

• Critical selection of the portfolio managers

• Diversification by means of different, non-correlated trading instruments

• Diversification by means of very different, non-correlated world-wide trading markets

The fund uses a proprietary strategy, a semi-automated allocation system for hedge funds based on statistical and correlation parameters; continuously refined to take advantage of market opportunities including: convertible arbitrage, fixed income arbitrage, distressed securities, global macro and long/short equity fundamental positions.

The selection of target funds for the X1 Global Fund is based on the K1 Fund Allocation System, which was developed by Helmut Kiener and has been applied since 1996. The system is a semi-automated program which, using stochastic and statistical parameters, gives precise instructions how to allocate capital in alternative investments.

The K1 Fund Allocation System ©™ has generated 790% profit since inception in 1996, with more than 82% positive months.

In order to select and possibly remove portfolio managers, our portfolio management team, on the basis of the K1 Fund Allocation System©™, continuously observes a high number of active target funds on the market. These target funds are analyzed on the basis of certain quantitative and qualitative criteria, in particular the risk management competence of each investment manager.
