Scottish Life International was launched in 1996 as a joint venture between The Scottish Life Assurance Company and Dresdner RCM Global Investors; two established and well respected European financial institutions. Following a much publicised takeover, Scottish Life International is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal London Group, with the transfer of business completed on 1 July 2001. Based in the tax-efficient environment of the Isle of Man, Scottish Life International markets a range of capital-protected investment and life assurance products and to date, has achieved funds under management in excess of £1billion.
